{"id":340,"date":"2020-06-25T22:50:29","date_gmt":"2020-06-25T22:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/networktoendhunger.org\/site\/?page_id=340"},"modified":"2025-04-23T20:14:36","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T20:14:36","slug":"hurricane-preparedness-packs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/networktoendhunger.org\/site\/hurricane-preparedness-packs\/","title":{"rendered":"Hurricane Preparedness Packs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the past years, Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger has helped prepare Meals On Wheels St. Petersburg&nbsp;seniors and homebound neighbors and Meals On Wheels for Kids recipients for hurricane season.&nbsp; In 2020, we provided over&nbsp;5,000 shelf-stable meals and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/networktoendhunger.org\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/MOWSP-2020-Hurricane-Preparedness-Guide.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">resource guides (including a shelter application)<\/a> to all&nbsp;800+ program recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of us have a plan for what to do when and if a storm hits. However, for many of the seniors and homebound throughout our community, there is no plan.
