    Driver Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger (TBNEH), a non-profit organization committed to ending hunger, brings people together to find solutions that eliminate barriers, improve access, increase awareness, and expand the availability of nutritious food to those in need.     Program Manager (PM)

    Responsibilities

    The Driver supports TBNEH’s mission in the following manner:

    • Reports to Site Coordinator at the assigned pick-up location by 10:00 AM.
    • Checks route sheets and make sure you have the correct number of meals/boxes of food.
    • Picks up meals and route sheets from assigned pick-up sites
    • Delivers meals Monday-Friday between 10 AM-3PM while completing a safety check
    • Makes sure that temperatures of food are maintained.
    • Reports delivery notes, including not homes, wellness concerns, and messages from recipients to Recipient Intake Coordinator
    • Returns empty coolers to pick-up site once route is complete
    • Informs the Site Coordinator that you have returned and report on any recipient concerns
    • Distribute special notices to recipients, as needed

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent competencies
    • Must be able to provide a reliable personal vehicle to be used for position daily
    • Verified driver’s license
    • Proof of minimum liability auto insurance
    • Ability to lift bags/coolers/boxes weighing a maximum of 40lb.
    • Must be able to use personal smartphone for GPS (though route sheets with turn-by-turn directions are provided as backup)
    • Knowledge of Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties
    • Must be sensitive to the needs of older and disabled adults
    • Strong communication skills
    • Desire to learn about hunger, health, and non-profits
    • Ability to work well independently and use good judgment for problem-solving
    • Must pass a level 2 background check

    Time Commitment
    On-Call: Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Up to 20 hours per week. Compensation $15 per hour plus reimbursement for work-related mileage. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided
Program Manager

    Location

    This role is located in Tampa Bay. Communication will be by phone, text, email, WhatsApp, and Zoom and in-person site visits and meetings.

    Supervisor

    Program Director (PD)

    Responsibilities

    The Program Manager (PM) supports TBNEH’s mission in the following manner:


    • Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates Site Coordinators (SC)
    • Provides support to SC to ensure all volunteer slot gaps are filled
    • Manages and updates Volunteer Hub site
    • Completes volunteer background checks and confirms that a welcome phone call or email is received
    • Assists SC with health and safety expectations (CDC guidelines),
    • Assures SC compliance with TBNEH policies, procedures, and protocols
    • Ensures accurate volunteer schedules are sent to all SC at least 24 hours before an event
    • Provides SC with on-site and volunteer orientation materials
    • Regularly meets (virtually or in person) with SC to seek feedback and suggestions
    • Standardizes various forms used by SC and volunteers for weekly deliveries and route packing
    • Works with Food Procurement Coordinator (FPC) to ensure all necessary food items are ordered, received, and distributed correctly
    • Visits packing/delivery sites and participates in packing events and delivery routes as needed
    • Helps PD open new sites
    • Remains accessible by phone, email, texts, and other digital means throughout the workday
    • Reads SC reports and addresses any existing or potential problem areas
    • Informs and updates PD with weekly data reports
    • Coordinates with appropriate sources to fulfill any unmet needs
    • Other duties as designated (5%)

    Qualifications/Requirements


    • Mission-minded
    • Bachelor’s degree and minimum two years of related experience
    • Prior experience with food distribution systems and sustainability (preferred)
    • Former experience with recruiting, managing, and scheduling volunteers
    • Resourceful problem-solving skills


    • Strong communication, relationship building, and organizational skills
    • Demonstrates excellent time management
    • Detail oriented
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Dropbox, and Excel
    • Able to work well independently and with others, and exercise sound judgment
    • Pass a background check

    Benefits

    Compensation

    $3,084/month + $483/month healthcare stipend
Site Coordinator – Gulfport
    Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger (TBNEH), a non-profit organization committed to ending hunger, brings people together to find solutions that eliminate barriers, improve access, increase awareness, and expand the availability of nutritious food to those in need.

    Location

    This position is based in Gulfport, FL (Catherine Hickman Theater). Communication will be by phone, text, email, WhatsApp, and Zoom with COVID-19 safe in-person site management required.

    Reports to Program Manager (PM) Responsibilities

    Site Coordinators (SC) support TBNEH’s mission in the following manner:


    · Print and assemble delivery documents prior to packing and delivery events, including route and cover sheets, welcome letters/COVID-19 handouts, volunteer schedule, food order, and other printed resources
    · Receive food from vendor on established food delivery day(s)
    · Organize and supervise packing (Saturday AM, Tuesday AM) and delivery events (Monday AM, Wednesday AM)
    · Manage and assist volunteers on site, including check-ins, health and safety expectations (CDC guidelines), and orientations on packing and delivery days
    · Monitor volunteer needs and communicate same to PM
    · Monitor site and communicate needs to PM
    · Problem solve to ensure equitable distribution of food
    · Prepare and send accurate notes/feedback of weekly packing and delivery events to Recipient Intake Team and Leadership
    · Deliver routes by driving own vehicle as needed
    · Attend team meetings

Site Coordinator – Tampa
    Meals On Wheels for Kids Site Coordinator – Tampa (Hillsborough)

    Make a difference in the lives of homebound and/or transportation-disadvantaged community members with children. The Meals On Wheels for Kids Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that nutritious meals and boxes of food are packed and delivered to recipients’ homes while building relationships with volunteers.

    Location

    This position is based in Tampa, Florida. Communications with team will be facilitated via phone, Zoom (or other video chat platforms), WhatsApp (or other texting platforms), email, and in-person.

    Reports to Program Manager Responsibilities The Site Coordinator will support Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger’s Meals On Wheels for Kids (MOW4Kids), in the following manner:


    – Print and assemble delivery documents prior to packing and delivery events, including route sheets, route cover pages, welcome letters/COVID-19 handouts, volunteer schedule, food order, and other printed resources
