Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger has developed a pilot program with our
community partners titled, Meals On Wheels 4 Kids. This program relies on volunteers to deliver nutritious meals to kids 18 years and younger, that are home because school is closed (ie. emergency closings, holiday breaks, etc.). Volunteers will pick up meals and a route sheet with directions at their assigned meal hub site (Daystar Life Center, 1055 28th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712) and deliver to 5-10 recipients within a 5 mile radius. In addition to dropping off meals, volunteers will provide a safety check and social connection with their recipients.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Meals On Wheels 4 Kids!
Delivery times are between 10:00am-2:00pm on Mondays.
All volunteers will undergo a level II background check and must show
proof of automobile insurance.
