Holidays On Wheels, a Meals On Wheels for Kids-Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger program, will deliver food for a full holiday meal at Thanksgiving and again at Christmas, along with toys for children, to transportation disadvantaged families, in partnership with Metropolitan Ministries.

- Tuesday, November 17: Thanksgiving delivery of meal ingredients.
- Wednesday, December 16: Holiday delivery of meal ingredients and toys for children.
Someone must be home to receive the food.
How do I register for Holidays On Wheels?
Click the button below to register to receive a special delivery to your home for Thanksgiving (on Thursday, November 17) and/or the Holidays (on Wednesday, December 16). Volunteers will deliver on these days between 10:00AM-2:00PM. The head of household must pass a background check and be home to receive the delivery.
Do I qualify for Holidays On Wheels?
Sign-up is open to all families with children that are transportation disadvantaged living in Hillsborough, Pasco or Pinellas counties. To qualify you must:
- Live in Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas Counties
- Family includes children (0-18yrs)
- Not be able to get a ride from household members or others for life-sustaining trips: medical, grocery, work, job-related training/education and other vital services (do not have access to working or reliable vehicle)
- Households lead by adult with disability or illness with children (0-18yrs)
What happens after I sign my family up?
Deliveries will begin once we have: 1) received your application, and 2) confirmed with you on the telephone.
Please note: you are not enrolled until you get a confirmation phone call and speak to a Meals On Wheels for Kids staff member. Your holiday delivery or deliveries will be confirmed after we speak with you on the telephone. If you receive a voicemail or email, please respond between 9AM-5PM.
What if I already receive Meals On Wheels for Kids deliveries?
Please call 813-344-5837 or tell your volunteer driver when they bring your regular delivery.

Register your family by Thursday, November 5 for the Thanksgiving delivery (November 17) and by Monday, December 7 for the Holiday delivery (December 16). You only need to register once for both deliveries. You can choose to receive just one of the two deliveries if you would like. Please note: You or someone else must be home to receive the delivery.

Volunteers needed to help deliver by driving their own vehicle on November 17 and December 16 in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties.
Deliveries will take place between 10:00AM-2:00PM on Tuesday, November 17 (Thanksgiving delivery of meal ingredients) and Wednesday, December 16 (Holiday delivery of meal ingredients and toys for children) in all three counties. Over 300 volunteers are needed to help deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to families in the tri-county area. Volunteers will pick up items and route sheets from designated Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent Sites. You will be assigned a pick-up site based on your home address location entered in the volunteer application.
